Black Bear Cafe

I ate at this cafe every other week for nearly a year. The owners soon got to know me, as I would order a customized burger medium rare and the cook(I didn’t know he was the owner at the time) would always come to my table and chat briefly with me and make sure I enjoyed my meal, which I always did. I appreciated their hospitality so much that I applied and became a server for their restaurant. They treat their staff and their customers with the utmost respect. I have learned so from Pat and Jen. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for many years but the experience I have had with being a customer and an employee is one that I will never forget!

Had a really good breakfast with delicious food this morning at the cafe. The pancakes were enormous and light. My burrito was enormous and good. Caught a glimpse of someone's cinnamon roll. If i had had room... The waitress was very nice and attentive to all her customers. We'll be back!

We happened to stumble across this little hidden gem, while on a road trip from California. The food was wonderful & the staff were so nice. We had their Hot Springs Omelet with their Green Chili on top, Hashbrowns and toast......OMG it was amazing! If you get a chance to stop in, do it! You won't be sorry :)
